agp?

man!!! both agp card and graphics card means the same....graphics card means a card which can be later added to the motherboard that will help improve the computers graphics handling ...like games ,movies, etc...and apg card means a graphics card which goes into the AGP - Accelerated Graphics Port....of the Motherboard....for ur info...AGP is a brown port that u can see on your motherboard just above all the pci x1 slots...... now the latest graphics cards are PCI Xpress X16 ....that means the slot is a pci xpress ...nothing else both these cards are called graphics card....now cleared???

agp = accelarated graphics port It is a slot of mother board where a graphics card can be attached. Now a days agp is backdated and PCI Express port is avilable on the recent motherbords. So agp card and pci express cards ar both called graphics card. The bandwidth and processesing speed of pci express cards are higher than gap cards.

Graphics cards with pci express slot have very high memory bandwidth and very data rate through its express slot.So it is much faster than agp.The latest games have much data to be handled by the graphics processor to draw a frame as its clarity and resolution increases.The new games can draw leaf with much reality.We can pass trough leaves and bushes in old games.Now a days in games if we pass through bush it will bend to sides as we move.So the graphics processor should handle a large amount of data with in a limited time.So the graphics cards are much faster than AGP card.
