well, things took a more sinister turn today. Following police instruction i took pictures of the kids throwing stones at my windows today, only to have parents banging on my front door shouting at me for daring to catch their child doing such things. Well now there is an uneasy stand off, but i dont think we have heard the last of this one....

That is awful, I hope you set those parents straight, and called the police and told them what they did, good that you took pictures, hopefully you can stop these kids from doing this to your property.

the mothers of the kids involved got very angry that i had the temerity to take pictures, that is evidence they cant deny but you would think we had done something wrong

basically that is what i did, i was told i was getting it all out of proportion, i was then threatened that if i involve the police they would make repoprts about the way i bring up my kids

I would have taken pictures of them and then told them why I was taking them and told them that everytime their little darlings came to my house I would take some more, and then slammed the door in their face!!

I just love sequals, but your is a little scarey. I cant believe this town its something from out of the dark ages.lol I cant believe they havent taken there brats home and grounded them for a month of sundays. How can a kid throwing rocks at your house be your fault. Oh gosh I hope it gets better for you. When your in oz I think maybe you should just stay.lol

Good for you at least you have shown that you are not to be messed with. Perhaps they will think twice before harassing you again.

Oh dear, you seem to have a right battle on your hands there. I have seen this sort of thing myself when a kid was poking my son in the back with a broom handle - he had recently had a kidney removed. I had no option other than to get hold of this kid by his arm to stop him doing it, as he was standing there defying me when I told him to lay off. Later his father came around and there was a situation, but I stood my ground and said I would do it again if that happened. I didn't hurt the kid just pulled him away. I would see the father often out on the street and all I would get was scowls from him. Fortunately the family moved away after a while. Hope karma will resolve this for you soon :-)

I too wish they would move away I really do. After i let them see I had taken the picture it went very quiet. I also told the parents that i am diarizing every event and every snide comment made by either parent or child. Now we will have to see what happens

but i do not even understand what their illusion of reality is. I think we are so far apart from each other that i do not even know the parameters within which they construct a reality for themselves

I can feel for you. It has probably gone quiet, because there is no answer to truth and you are telling the truth whilst they are trying to "win" in the situation. I know how such quiet can be unnerving at times though. In this unreal society of ours, they are trying to say, "please go along with our lies, join in and we'll go along with yours. Then we can all be friends!" The "secret" is in non-defence. Giving them back their so-called "reality" until they get fed up of living in their illusions. :-)

All I can say this whole thing sucks--how long has this been going on in general anyway...long time or just recently...I read some of the other repsonders and your responses...why are the parents in a turmoil about how you raise YOUR kids...they obviously aren't raising there's well and the parents seem to sanction their kids' actions....I'm glad you are taking photos of them..all the more evidence if you press formal charges...and I would

That is great at least you now have evidence and they can be charged! On the other hand I am sorry again that this is happening to you. I hope an end comes to it soon. Continue getting pictures if it does happen again. Maybe now that they know you have the pictures this will all end. I can't believe the parents reacted the way they did. Good luck.
