Thierry Henry has for many years been the most instrumental player in Arsenal. But now he is leaving for Barcelona. Would Arsenal be able to manage without him?

of corse we can surive, look at last season, he was injued for most of that season and we still got champions league position. So in future we can mve on from him and it will give players like theo walcott and cesc fabregas ect. a chance to bloom. And lets be honest he was beginning to lose it abit. But he was by far the gretest player for aresnal i have ever seen.

I some how have the same feeling too. May be his time was over and there was need for other players to take over in Arsenal. But I think the youngsters can do it.

i don't watch EPL that much but i like to keep some knowledge anyway;) and when i first heard of this move i found it quite strange because i thought it's where Henry would spend all his life lol. i think at first it's going to be hard but i believe that Arsenal would be able to bring out someone as wonderful as Henry proved to be to the club.. but let's wait and watch:)

Yeah, it was really a surprise move wasn't it. The best player in the club to just move all so suddenly, LOL. But if they are going to bounce back, they need to do it very fast because clubs like manchester united, chelsea, liverpool and the likes would not just stand idler by and wait for them. Nice response.

Hello,2wicelot,i think it will take a long time for arsenal to get use to it.Henry has been in Arsenal for such a long time which all the attacks are based on him, without him, there may be some problems for the attacks of arsenals, they may not be able to find someone to replace him, even they can find some quality players like him,it will still take sometime to build up good cooperation.

I agree with you. It seems the whole team is build around him. When he leaves, he will leave a giant vaccuum that needs to be filled by a really strong and capable player like he is. And then there is the issue of being able to blend with the rest of the squad. Thank you very much for your response.
