This is just for fun and to give me a little something to dream about! With the exception of one trip to Florida over 10 years ago I've never been more than a few hundred miles from home. A real vacation is out of the question because of money and the fact that my s/o won't fly or take a boat anywhere (and the fact that we have a houseful of little ones!).
So pretend that you are inviting me to visit you for a few days or even a week. I don't care if you live 200 miles from me, 2000 miles or on the other side of the world. Where would you take me? What activities would we do? Describe anything and everything about where you live and what a vacation there would be like.
Alright, I have my virtual plane ticket and my virtual tank of gas and I'm virtually packed and ready to go....

Welllll a vacation to where my home is, would not be too exciting. I live on a military base in New Jersey! The only places I can imagine taking you would be to the New Jersey shore-we would get some salt water taffy and fudge, yum! We could go to the philadelphia zoo, which is about an hour away-nothing spectacular but it wouldn't be too bad. Hmm. We could go to some fruit stands and get fresh fruits and new jersey sweet corn. lol. And maybe we could go to atlantic city and do some gambling! I wouldnt keep you long though, because you would get bored. Maybe a 3 day weekend, how does that sound ? :)

Actually that would be more exciting than you realize. First of all I have never been to New Jersey (weird I know since I live so close!) Secondly, I haven't been to a beach since I was 12! And thirdly my s/o probably lived on that base when he was around 10! I'm not really sure about that part since I know things change, all I know is that they grew up with their dad being in the Army and Air Force (I can never remember which he did first and when he switched to the other) and that my s/o's little brother was born on a base in New Jersey when he was 10. I would love to be able to go back to all the places he grew up.
My youngest has to see a specialist at the Children's Hospital in Philadelphia so a zoo trip wouldn't really be all that unrealistic either! And my s/o goes to Atlantic City every February too, not for gambling (although he usually ends up doing a little of that too!) but for his racing trade shows. He says they'd bore me so I've never gone there either.

My friend, Oh you will love visiting me here in rural Arkansas...we have some of the most beautiful waters in the USA...I live close to several lakes and rivers...
I would have to take you to visit Buffalo River...at the point...I have enclosed a photo of our favorite watering hole....we were there yesterday...the water was warm, the sun shining brightly, lots of canoe's floating by........large rock outcroppings....while being green and lush...
We have lots of great activities available here...like boating, hiking, caving, fishing, camping and swimming...
I have 2 horses and we can saddle up and ride for hours if you like....
We have 15 acres to run and play on...the kids would have as much fun as you would....
If this gets too rustic for you, my friend, we are less than an hour away from Branson, Missouri and only 2 hours from Springfield, Missouri... where the big malls are....
I am a great cook, so we will eat well....
I can hardly wait for your arrival...I am counting the minutes, my friend.....

That sounds beautiful! I'll have to leave s/o somewhere while we go to the river...well maybe I'll just leave him home for this trip lol...since he doesn't go near water, but I'd love to try some boating and fishing. I miss camping too so that would definitely be something we could do. I've never ridden a horse either but I'd love to give that a try too. I always wanted to but just never knew anyone with one. You really can't get to rustic for me, I'm a country girl! Just not one that has ever taken much advantage of country living since my mom was pretty much against anything too rustic so we never did that kind of thing. We did go camping but it was to well known tourist spots with a big air conditioned camper with a microwave, refrigerator, stove, hot water and a television so it was never all that rustic. I always thought it would be fun though.
We can hit the malls too just because it would be a shame to be so close and not go!
I'll definitely enjoy some good cooking. This little summer dream trip of mine is sounding really good!

That sounds like a plan...we'll be on total boy overload with yours, my four, and 4cuteboys four going on five boys at the zoo but they should all get along pretty good.

Ok then I will take you to a very small place in India this is called Baizanath paprola, it is an unknown hill station in the himachal pradesh from where snow clad hills of Himalayas are visible and a very fast stream flows in between , no particular place to stay in just some of the guest house, very quite place. Sky is so clear that you can read all the astrological signs like orion the hunter. Food there is very refreshing and in a cool place like that tea drinking at a tea stall is so good.Complete place is full of natural beauty, lush green peaks of hills , a curvy road to roam on.That is where I would like you to go.

Getting to see snow this time of year would be so neat. For some reason ever since I was little I always wanted to see snow on my birthday which is at the end of July. Thank you for inviting me there, it sounds beautiful and very peaceful!
