Do you wonder if you'll run out of ideas for a discussion?

I have, more than once. That's why I haven't been on as much the last several days. I actually couldn't think of anything that sounded worth posting on here. Still haven't really. :)
So what do you do when you can't think of something for a new discussion?

LOL. I am sure many have encountered this. Personally, I am always in such a situation. Hence, I do not post discussions often. I have certain expectations of myself as to the quality of the discussion I am to post, and that makes life difficult.

Constantly, thats why I hardly ever start discussions, I can never think of anything and when I do I find that someone else has already started the same topic. Im quite happy just plodding along answering, Im sure that something will pop into my head eventually.

If you run out of ideas, you run out of ideas. Why force yourself to post?
For me, I just not post anything if I have no discussion idea. (Though not posting does not mean I have no idea :P)
I don't really have a problem with ideas yet. I still have tons of topics just waiting for me to put words to them - if I want, when I want. :)

I, too, lack ideas for opening up a discussion. Others are much better at it than I. But the last two days I couldn`t find that much that I was able to answer. I looked through everything and there wasn`t much. Maybe this is a common problem right now and maybe we all have fresh ideas in a couple of days...

I do every time I get onto myLot. I find everything has already been written and what can I say? I then go through my mind and find what is bothering me? I do go on the cellphone discussion because I got a new one, and I need help. I also have this crappy computer that I wish I was not persuaded to buy. I have not gone to the singing discussion yet. One time, I even went to my interests, and found I forgot to check digital cameras and that helped. Oh and I do the responses which is hard when you have no idea what they mean.

Hi Gumball,
Yes I do, and I'm constantly trying to think of topics that 'may' be of interest on here. My thoughts often 'bounce all over the place,' so I wait until I feel 'good' (at least a little), about a discussion subject, before actually starting it. Sometimes, I have a whole list of topics ... other times, nothing.:)
