Do you think children have a sixth sense?

Maybe it's wishful thinking, but often times I think that my three year old daughter might have some type of intuiton or psychic ability. I've noticed this in other children too. And, I've always wondered if perhaps all children have this ability. Have you noticed that your kids always seem to know what you're thinking? Maybe kids lose this ability as they grow up because they simply stop believing. Do you think it's part of a survival mechanism that allows kids to know when danger near? Maybe it's a throw back to prehistoric times when children often had to fend for themselves? What's your view on this?
