The 23 Million Dollar Pair of Pants!

Did you hear about the man who sued his dry cleaners for 23 Million dollars because they lost his pants? I never got to see the conclusion of the news story, so I don't know if he won or not.
Why do you think someone would do that? Is that the same person who had the winning lotto ticket and never turned it in? Do you think he put the ticket into his pants pocket and the dry cleaners took it away from him when they realized what it was? Maybe?
Would you ever sue someone for so much money?

Yes, it is pretty stupid, especially for a judge who probably gets fed up with seeing these ridiculous cases in his court room. But it will be at the back of my mind when I pick up my daughter's graduation dress at the dry cleaner's on Monday. When I got it from the store it was a little wrinkly. I don't dare iron it so I took it in to the professionals. If there is anything wrong with that dress and she can't wear it the next night, she'll have to wear something else which will cause her a lot of heartbreak. I'll be calling my lawyers then. LOL! But not for 23 million dollars.

I would never sue someone just for losing a lousy pair of pants. I get sick of hearing people sueing over stupid things like this.
I heard that the guy is about to lose his postition as a judge because of his behavior. Apparently his postition has a ten year run so its time for a review and they are going to ask that he doesn't get the position again.
