What kind of person are you?

I was told by a friend that someone we know recently won the lotto. The lotto prize was actually P32M but since there were two of them, they got P16M each. This person would not have known that he/she won if not for the staff whom he/she requested to buy for him/her. The staff was the holder of the lotto ticket and that person could have claimed the money for himself/herself. The staff told his/her boss and was promised 1M. However, when the boss received the prize money, the staff was only given a small amount of money (P200,000.00). As for the staff, that person was happy enough to be given P200,000.00. If you were in the boss' shoes, are you going to fulfill your promise and give the staff 1M or would you do the same thing as what the boss did?

Though 1 million is quite big knowing the prize i got is only 16 million, i would still give him the agreed amount of 1 million. The staff has done a great deal of favor for me and it's just proper to give him/her a decent slice of the cake. Who knows, he/she could even be the lucky charm!

I think I would keep my promise. If I give my word, I keep it. If I'm not going to do something, I won't say I will. I hate to break my word!

I would also keep my promise. Word of honor is one thing that I value most in a person. Thanks for sharing. :)
