Tobacco or Sunflower Seeds or ???

Do you know someone who carries a can around with them? Why? Because perhaps they are constantly SPITTING in it!! Tobacco? Sunflower seeds? Do you notice this in your place of work or at home or ??? Are you ok with it or does it bother you?
