Who here uses Nationwide for their car and/or home insurance? What do you like or dislike about them? Do they provide enough coverage for you at a good rate? Does anyone out there feel that there are better insurance companies for car and homeowners policies?

I do not use nationwide..I use Erie Insurance..which comes out of Pennsylvania..They allow you to make monthly payments..you make payments for 9 months and 3 months you do not pay anything..If you use renters or homeowners you get a big discount on the auto insurance.. I know one time my back window was shattered ..they sent someone out to my house to fix it..on the spot..no payment needed.. Go for Erie..they are great..if you..he he..tell them who sent you;) they are good folk!

I have never heard of Erie Insurance before. Are they a new insurance company? I have heard of many other insurance companies but not that one. What are your rates with them? That is good that they helped you right away with your problem and everything. I will check them out my friend.

Nope. But I might when I get a place of my own, I've been impressed by the nationwide branch here. They seem to have a good gimmick with re-paying to those who take them up with good deals and offers. so it's probably them, I've also heard they payout better than most :) ~Joey

They definitely seem to have better rates than some of the other insurance companies that I have used over the years. I just switched over to them yesterday for my auto and homeowners policy and got discounts for things that I did not get with the other companies.

I don't know anything about Nationwide except for those commericals they show on TV that make them look good. But, I have been with Progressive forever and they are pretty good. I like how the insurance coverage rate goes down as older as your car gets. To me that is saving a little bit of them dollars.
