Which do you prefer liquid or powder towash clothes?

I'm a liquid detergent user as well, but that is mostly due to the type of washing machine that I have. I went for one of those high-efficiency front loaders when was outfitting my house. (Was a recent purchase) Almost all the High Efficiency detergents are liquid, and I've never had back luck with them-- So I've never tried the powders with my current washer.

I prefer the liquid detergent. Any time I've used the powder kind, it gets into the folds of the clothes and leaves wet lumps behind, which of course, means that you have to wash them again. It's much easier to wash them just once with the liquid. :)
