Did mommy have secrets?

My mom never kept a diary however I did find out more about her hard upbringing when I moved to Samoa. Kind of explained a lot of things and the way she was at times. Wish I knew more of her upbringing as she hardly ever spoke of it, or else made it sound like she had an easy life, which is not what I had heard from family members back in Samoa. My mom had it hard :(

No i don't think we should really read our mum's diary yea ... it is simply not a right thing to do , people should have their privacy yea

I WISH my mom had kept her secrets to herself! She just had to always tell me all about them. I had way too much information about way too much nasty stuff way too early in life. It was not good. So, no diary for mom, she had me to spill all her NOT-secrets too. So, yes, I wish mom had had a diary and kept it locked away. I would not have ever read the thing!

Mine didn't keep a diary that I know of but I did once find out more than I needed to know. At least I was a teenager at the time, although I'm not sure how much that really helped LOL. I needed to borrow a pair of stockings so I was rummaging through her dresser to find the right color. I came across a umm...personal bedroom item that I didn't need to know she had!...I didn't end up wearing any stockings that day either LOL

My Mom was always too busy to write a diary.......but when I grew up and was around more of my father's ide of the family...I got another perspective of my Mother...it was very educational....nothing bad...but funny stuff....LOL

my mother passed away when i was 5 years old, but if she did keep a diary and was still alive, i dont think i would have wanted to know, its her private thoughts and feelings id feel upset if someone read mine!!

no but i did find my aunts she had a lot of skeletons. she wants everyone to perceive her as a good, kind, innocent person, but after reading her diary that was not even the case.

when i was a kid the only thing i can remember was to stay out of my mothers way otherwise she would bash me .I do not feel any love for my mother she just didn`t protect me when i needed protection she was a drunk as long as i remember not a thing a child should remember about their parent is it

No my mum never keep a diary and I don't think I would have read it even if she did I would rather her tell me if I needed to know....
