Goldkit.com: Scam or Legit?

Okay I am wondering if anyone on here has used goldkit.com. I have seen many of thier commericals on tv advertising that they pay decent money for gold (broken jewerly, gold filings, etc.). But I am a little reserved about trying them. I have a few gold pieces that I have tried taking other places but the prices I was given was like a slap in the face. So I am wondering if anyone can help me out. Please only respond if you have used this site. For those that have used this site. Were you happy with the offer they gave you? or were you disatsified? Once you sent in your stuff. How long was it until you received your check? Thanks to everyone that can help me on this!

Yes, it is most definately a scam. A. There are no listed prices of what they will pay for your gold. B. When they recieve your gold they will send you a check without first making sure you would like to accept their offer which will ultimately be way lower than it should be. C. You then would have to waste hours of your time in order to get your money back, most people dont have the time or the patience as they will threaten you or scam you. Also if you look on BBB(better business bereau) they have about 100 complaints against them in one month. Solution- You are much better off going to a website that has prices listed on their website and will give you a quote before you have to send in your gold, and that way you will know in advance.

You know, I was wondering the same thing. I would have to find out more on this company before I could trust them with my jewerly. Most of those type of commercials are scams anyway, so I would be careful.

Exactly! That is why I posted this discussion. So that way I could kind of get an idea if anyone else has tried it and how they felt about it.

I tried once and you know what, I got nothing for it. Not even my money. It was a scam, at least they scammed me. But maybe for others it's different. You may need to look into it more. I really thought I'd have this work for me but unfortunatly nothing good came out of it.

Thanks for the info. I saw on thier website they have a logo for the BBB (Better Business Bureau). I went to the BBB and looked them up. They are registered but not showing any complaints. So I guess I am still uncertain about them.

YES it is a SCAM! I sent almost 2 oz, including a Panda gold coin. They didn't even acknowledge the coin and sent $45.60. My postage was more than that!!!

I used it twice in the last few months. Just a little gold, mostly silver and I was satisfied with the price given. The envelope they send is not so huge so I had to request a second and third. However, the third must have been stolen along the way and they never received it. They give you a tracking number so you can see if they received it and when the check is sent (the next day after delivery). No more to send and atleast the last envelope I'm sure was worth much less than the others.
