I try to prepare potato cutlets, but they break off to smaller pieces when deep fried and the stuffing pours out. Can you suggest a proper way of preparation? I do not wish to grill them.

You can try this. Sprinkle the flour on a plate, then, using your hands, make patties out of the potato and put them on the plate. Turn them over, lift them up and pat them again - make sure they're well covered with flour. That's the hardest part over. Now heat the oil in a frying pan then lay the patties in it. Let them cook for about 6 or 7 minutes each side at a medium heat, until they are nice and crisp and golden on the outside.

Hi Ronimas. I don't know what is potato cutlets. This seems to be a good recipe, I love stuffed vegetables.
Since I can't suggest a recipe, here is one that I discovered lately:
I use red potatoes. I don't take off the skin, you eat them with their skin and actually it's healthier for you because it seems that the vitamins are on the part that is close to the skin.
I cut the potatoes in 4 pieces or half if you want. Then cook the just a little in boiling water (I just need to soften them a little).
Meanwhile, I prepare this mixture: crashed garlic, chopped parsley or coriander, salt and pepper, melted butter. Mix everything and pour it on the softened potatoes. Mix well and then put in silver foil (it has to be covered). Bake in the over at 350F for about 20 minutes.
