No, I do not write a diary. i have tried several times, but I am not very good at it. Now I belong to a forum where we all have our opwn presentation thread. It sort of serves as a diary, as I write about all important stuff that happen to me

Around this time I started to write a diary, chiefly as a way to practice my writing skills. Since there is no need to monitor the quality or interest of what is being written, the diary is an ideal form for developing the technique of writing, and for taking the anxiety out of it. No one will correct your grammar and spelling, or make fun of your naive thoughts and banal phrases, so you are free to get on to friendly terms with the language you speak.

well about diary, i use to be very lazy about witting anything. it gives me painful fingers when i write. but then at some point of time i realized that as i am in a creative field it is better to write something. i think writing a diary page give the person some time to think. he can access himself. he can get an idea about what he is doing and what he needs to do for himself to attain what he wants. i think writing a diary gives you some time for yourself. so i think it is a good practise and peope should do it not as a compulsory thing but just to have a break.

I cannot keep a paper diary, no matter how hard I try. It just doesn't work. I may get thru a week of writing in the paper diary, but I soon grow tired of it. I prefer typing and keeping an online diary/journal. It's just easier for me to keep up with. I tend to want to write online more than I do in a personal journal.

I do! I do! I do! When I'm upset? I badly need my diary. It helps me burst out my feelings. I don't diary for daily activities, I'm using it to write down my emotions through words and drawings. Sometimes, I write to the person who gives me so much pain but I don't send it. I'm keeping it in my diary.

I used to write diary when I was younger. But I don't anymore. The reason is mainly because I notice that I tend to write when I am sad and some time later when I read my entries again, I find many sad thoughts and feelings and I really don't enjoy reading those and being reminded of again. So, I just don't write dairies anymore. Now with the popularity of blogging, I express myself writing beauty tips online *laughs*, because it's no feelings involved and I feel happier to express on thoughts on the topic and I won't be scared to read them back.

No, i hate writing diaries. I don't reveal secrets or day to day activities in diary. It is boring for me and just make my hand tired of writing. I'd rather stay daydreaming or reminiscing special moment happen all day long than writing it in a diary. I think, it is just a waste of paper and time for me.

I never had the habit of writing diaries until recently I had an opportunity of trying a digital Diary where I can type in my day and save it... It sounded good for me, instead taking a pen and writing it out in a piece of paper and later forgetting it and dumping it along with the wastes. Digital diaries had the option of searching, where I can search of something I wanted to remember. Whereas with the paper diaries, I dont think I can easily locate the information I had written very long back.

I have journals that I write in, but they are not so much diaries. I write down ideas and plans for my work. Sometimes I discuss my feelings or different things I am thinking about. But it is harder for me to go back and spend time reading what I have wrote. I am not sure why that is.

I've tried this so many times and I cannot seem to keep a consistancy on doing it. I am probably so used to typing them out in a blog, that writing them on paper seems like a chore. I really don't know why that is, but I blame it on the internet. Yet the internet is a very useful tool.

I too have tried to keep a regular diary, but have never really followed through with it. I am not sure why. I guess I end up getting too busy and things, but I do recommend doing it. It would be fun to reread things acouple of years later :) cheers,

I do not have that habit. But I think its a good habit. A diary is a personal daily record of one's life. It can also be called as a journal because sometime you may want to include poems and jokes you have heard, photographs, mementos or souvenirs in your diary. Your diary if used in this way, can also be called a journal.
