Do You Think That Astrology Signs are important to dating?

I'm an aquarius, and strangely enough, I date a lot of Sagittarius girls. I think it's kind of odd that I've dated many girls who were born in December.
I personally think that astrology is mainly for fun, life decisions shouldn't be made by the stars.
How about you? What's the sign of your soulmate?

I agree that you can't make your life decisions by the stars, but I'm also an Aquarius and am most compatible with Gemini, Libra, Sagittarius and Aries. That's pretty common astological advice, that an Aquarius will be most compatible with these signs. And it happens to be true in most cases. That doesn't mean you can't fall in love and be compatible with others, it just may take a little more work and compromise. Most people don't delve into astology deeply enough to understand there are many more planetary influences in your chart than just your sun sign that affect your behavior and your preferences.

Thanks cblackink! I agree with you a lot. But compromise kinda sucks! I don't want to compromise! I want to have a little bit of disagreement so the relationship stays spicy.

Hi everyone. I do agree with you cblackink. I am a gemini and I have dated a lot of girls with different signs but up to this day, I found myself more compatible with Aquarius women. I have had longer and more fulfilling realtionship with them. But as you explain there are more than just sun signs out there. And I found out that although I prefer Aquarius Women, I get along the most with goat(moon sign) Aquarius women than lets lets say rat aquarius women. I think that there are lots of combination you have to take into account when dealing with cosmic energies. However, I think it is best to get on with your life without taking those things into consideration. It might hamper yourself in your progression. I myself is considering a rat aquarius woman. And I am madly in love with her:)

Wait, rats? I don't understand. Is there some sign that has to do with rats? I think rats a kinda gross. Once I saw a rat that was as large as a cat! In fact, thought it was a cat until it got close.

No, its depend on the person actually and you are right that life decisions shouldnt be made by the stars, astrological signs are just guide on our daily lives, i am a sagittarian actually and my husband is virgo, maybe the compatibility of both couples are depends on both of them on how they will going to run their relationship. It depends on their own understanding and characteristics. Take for example some celebrities yearly they always know their signs for the current year and sometimes they base their life on that signs so as the man they are going to be their partner in life but then why is it their relationship sometimes ends up to separation.
So astrological signs are just guide.

Ahhh. Spoken like a rationalist? Sure, guidebooks are nice. But when things go wrong, people will say "You didn't follow the guidebook."
When things go right, but they're against the guide, then people will say "The guide can be wrong sometimes, too!"
It makes no sense logically, but socially, it organizes people a bit better than extreme cold logic.

I don't think that astroloy signs are that important to dating.I am living proof that if you love someone, it can work. My mom was a scropio and my dad was a leo. They weren't suppose to even talk to one another but they loved each other and had me and my sister and lived happily ever after.I can see knowing the signs that suppose to work better for you but you shouldn't refuse to date a sign that isn't one of your love signs.

True, true. Maybe its more about the personality types than anything. I once watched a show where this guy pretended to be a psychic and then he guessed people's signs by saying "You're obviously a skeptic...You must have been born in a strange month."
The people would eventually believe that he was psychic. I think I saw it on PBS.

no i dont think that astrology signs are important to dating. i think that if someone has love for another its something completly other than the stupid astrology signs...people are so supersticious
