it would be helpful to know which country is that so that we would be warned and not go there, lol!! my country is known to be very hospitable towards guests especially to foreigners. we can put on a wonderful display showcasing our wares and best fronts. it's another story when we're left behind, politics between people is dirty linen poured out in public, corruption is all around, and plenty of times, we're rude to each other. but not to a foreigner! and then there's indolence in the country, so many people without employment, maybe because employment here don't pay much? or there's just very few opportunities. in other countries, we're one of the most industrious, well-sought, willing-to-take-the extra mile workers. we follow rules in other countries, but in here - it's a 'catch-me-if-you can rule'. there are still many instances of paradox situations in my country that are certainly we're not too proud about. but isn't it happening in any other country too. it is just so highlighted for us because we know our people, we're familiar with our own national psyche. as long as we know right from wrong, we can switch to doing good things.

I living in it, The U.S.A. Political correctness is the reason. You can't really say what you want to say, so people don't get to know what you really care about, what your views are. Everyone is so afraid to say the wrong thing. It is so strange that we have freedom of speech but we are afraid to really use it.
