science discard concepts,if they cant prove it to be true!

is it true to say that science is the game of proving for t to be a law afterwards.science never believe in things if they dont have any solid proofs for that....why?
even they are true why not to believe rather to say them rubbish just becoz they cant prove it to be true:\

u are right friend ,if u go thru newspaper and read the scientific information they give one day they will tea is good for that hormone and the next day may say absolutely contrasting fact ,me a science student feel disgusted specially chemistry ,ther are more exceptions than the rules.

hI COOLCAT. Yes its true hat science is strange. It only accepts facts and not fictions. becaue a fiction can be a fact opnly if it can be prooved. HOWEVER throwing away of ideas is alo no correct totally as they continue to do research except that it stays under the cover till the prooof is found and by then it is a forgotton case or a mystery.
science is man made but fiction is natures creation, and we cannot defeat nature whatever we do.
