How do you do housework you hate?

I went to a clutter's 12 step group a few times and they suggested making a commitment of doing 15 minutes a week. After my clutter was depressing me, and I was ashamed to let people see my place. I prayed about it and bought one of those baking timers. It has a battery in in and the light blinks and buzzer rings when the time I set is up. In my journal I write down the time and duration and what I accomplish in 15 minutes. I pick small patches of clutter and work on it for only 15 minutes. Then I rest, watch TV or use the computer for 15 min. to a half hour. Doing this on a regular basis every day has created patches of beauty and serenety in my apartment that's giving me much pleasure. It's even motivated me into having friends over for a domino gathering on Friday and we'll order a pizza for dinner.
