Do you actually read topics that are one full page long on mylot. I must confess I have so little patience or time for those that are a whole page long.. What about you ..do you read extra long topics that are one page long?

Hello, littlefranciscan, the length of the discussion may not be the reason why i choose not to read or reply them,if something is interesting,i do not mind reading the whole page lines by lines and think of something constructive to reply,if not, even it is not interesting enough, even it is short,i will just scan through them or skip them.

Perhaps you have more time on your hand then others? Do you have to work during the day? What is your schedule like.. I admire your dedication, though;)+

To be honest, I don't have the patience to read a whole page long in a discussion. I just pass it up.

I think there are different types of folks here and real friends will understand this of their friends..if they know they tire easily when reading too much;)+

No I don't but, it depends on who the person is, if they answer my topics yes, I will read the faithful ones.

I don't even read the long one's of my friends..it's a a matter of fairness..I think my friends who are friends will understand this..since my eyes are so tired in the evening.. And evening is the time I usually make post and answer responses;)+

I usually do not read discussions that are that long as it is very time consuming. If the subject line interests me then I will read it and respond to it but most of the time I have moved on to another topic. I do not think we need to make our topics really long. I will read topics that are have a page but not a full page or more.

Yes..you are right Ken..we don't need to make a topic extremely long..especially since there are so many for us to read.. If everyone did page long topics ...we would end up reading several "books" a week;)+

I do read discussions that are up to two pages long, but I'm afraid I don't read any further than that. I would never get my mylot pennies if I read all the ten page discussions before replying. The only really long ones I keep up with are my own, even then they get repetitive after a while (no matter how amazing my subject is!! lol)

It depends on the topic and whether or not I get "uninterested" while reading it or if it keeps my attention.

I think for me..it's more because my eyes are tired by time I get to mylot..All day long I must look at the screen and if someone takes forever to get their point across on printe..I tend to give up and move on..It's not right but my eyes tire after a long day's work;)+

Nope...I have only a little time here also, so when I read a discussion that is that long, either I give up before I'm done, or I don't respond because I spent too much time reading the discussion and because coming up with a response will take too much time.

It depends on if is someting I want to know more about or can learn from. I dont always have the time but yes, I will read them...I know that some posts will be longer then others at times...

Why would anyone who respect someone else lie? I'd personally find that offensive myself, which is very annoying. (which I am now) I read discussions, there isn't much point if your going to respond not to gather the information before and use it and make a good response. (I wouldn't never skim through) If somethings to long and I really can't be bothered I leave it and go away. Maybe later come back? That's something I do. ~Joey

To tell you the honest truth. It all depends on the topic. If it is a topic that really interests me than I will take the time to read the whole topic. But if it is a topic that I am not that interested in. If I see it is really long than I will mostly likely skip over it.

So for you it will depend on the amount of interest you have in the topic? What if the topic is extremely long and it's a friend.. Do you skim it and respond or leave it?+

I don't read very long topics. It's kinda boring reading too much long post that looks like a novel. There are times that i only read the main question or the main topic. I don't like to read the whole page because it will just give me a headache.

to tell the truth, i prefer to read short topics with short responses. it's not that i have no time but i would just like to know the main points of interest.

I do the same thing..For some reason I have some kind of interior repugnance when I see lots and lots of words to plow through just to get the gest of what is being asked. I know people can say it in less; sometimes I wonder if it's an attempt to get paid more for the post?+

i prefer to just read the topic and not read the responses...i just like giving my own feedback... i dont want to see others in case i change my mind on what i really wnated to write
