What is the cheap mode of transport in your country?

In India we have Government Bus which is cheaper and poor and middle class can travel in that. Then it is cycle rikshaw in some states and then it is Autorickshaws which are used by upper middleclass people. What about the mode of transport in your country?

I stay in Kolkata we have all types of transport but autorickshaws are cheaper for everybody.

Are you sure autorickshaws are cheaper than Government Bus fares?

the cheapest? that would have to be walking LOL! in the philippines we have pedicabs i some parts, including where i live. the fare is 6 pesos, which is pretty cheap. but it was waaay cheaper before :)

What is pedicabs? Is it small car? But you are very humorous friend. Yes walking is the best one as no charge is involved at all.

I think everywhere it is bus that is cheaper. But still I am not sure.
