Do You Have a Stereotypical Name?

Is your name stereotypical or common to where you live? Here in Wales, common names are things like 'Evans' and 'Jones' - my last name is Hawkins which is more unusual here... what about you? :o)

My married name isn't as common here and most people with the name are directly related to each other. My maiden name is a little more common and although we are all loosely related it gets hard to figure out the lines. I did have an even better reason for answering your discussion about this though...my maiden name is Evans. We have traced the family tree back to Wales in the late 1700's.

Hehe, that is great - I'd love to trace my family tree back to see where we originated from, I think it would be really interesting to uncover something like that! It's such a small world isn't it! Thanks for your response :o)

Oh. I always think about this. My name is very uncommon. In fact till now I came to know people of my name only two persons. Out of that one I have seen and felt some what thrilling feeling when I met a lady of my name.

It must be great to have such an uncommon name - it can add to your uniqueness and mystique! And of course, create a great conversation point between two strangers! Thanks for your response :o)
