How much you can love your step mother or father?

I dont think I can love a step mother/father as much as we loved our own father and mother. there is no substitution for the mother and father and the attachment is something different. No body can give that affection and love as our mother and father gives

I have a step mom. We have had some really bad times getting along when I was a kid and teenager. But now that I'm an adult with my own family we get along. I do love my step mom but I would never be able to love her as my own mother. My mother is the one that raised me and we have that special bond like no other.
