Juan Pablo Montoya won his first Nextel race at Sonoma yesterday. He raced an aggressive, but smooth race. I was happy for him. I hope it's the first of many. Do you think his winning is good for NASCAR or bad?

I think it is a good thing for Nascar and should bring some new fans of the sport by his winning. I think he is an asset to the sport and I hope to see him win many more races.

I agree. He's a huge asset to the sport. His skill and passion can only add to what's there already. I'd like to see him win on an oval soon.

I think it's good that Juan Pablo won a race this year. That should help to solidify his statis as rookie of the year .I believe that he's a tremendous talent that can only add to the popularity of NASCAR racing. This should help to build momentum for the sports exceptance down in South America .I hope it also will attract more Formula 1 and Indy type racers to the sport.

It's good to have Juan Pablo win, it shows that more and more Nascar isn't for just a few, that it is becoming more international. Of course it is appropriate that the win was on a road coarse rather then an oval. It would bring more interest into Nascar, especially with the race in Mexico. Why not some more road courses rather then the ovals. Why not bring in some more drivers from the F1 circuit. As long as it doesn't take over and make Nascar something it isn't, then it is good.

I'm okay with him winning. However being a Kevin Harvick fan i was very upset not to see Juan's gas run out ;)
