How Do You Report A Member Who Is Abusing myLot?

I've come across another member who I suspect is abusing myLot. This person's discussions don't correlate with each other. On some discussions, he/she will say that they are a man, on other discussions, a woman. Some discussions, he/she says that she is a 14 year old girl who wants to cuddle with her boyfriend on the couch but has no privacy, then in another discussion right after, she states that her husband is in the war. I then checked out responses that this person have given on other members' discussions, and noted that on discussions about angels, this person copied and pasted the same response over and over on each discussion regarding angels. When they start their own discussions, it is in broken English most of the time, but on the angels discussions, their response is in perfect English. So how do I report this member? Thanks for your help!

I have not ran across this person. But when I do come across members that are blantly abusing mylot I will report them in a heart beat. Those are the ones that make mylot misserable for the rest of us and they have no need to be here if they are going to pull stuff like this. I do see from reading the other responses, that other members have already gave you the directions for reporting the member. So I will not repeat the information. Best of luck!

It's a shame that people do have to abuse the site. It's not fair to those who honestly post here and are here to make friends. Thank you for your input!

I've tried leaving a response on some of their discussions, but this person doesn't seem to go back to their discussions and leave responses to any comments that are left. Thanks for your response!

Yea there's a lot of people who the same thing. Some even paste discussions which is copied from another forum. If you think they abuse Mylot. You can give he/her a negative rating and a warning at anytime. Maybe you can try to report this matter to the admin of mylot. I'm sure they will be more than willing to help you.

If that's the case of copy and paste, that is so sad that they have to cheat like that. I found a link through the FAQ page and reported them through there. Hopefully, they'll check it out. Thanks for your help!

The (!) button on the side of each comment or discussion is the "abuse" button....although being a liar is not a reportable offense....I don't think....SAD, but not abusive to anyone except themselves; because their reputation will become very bad if this is the way that they behave here...we are not a very forgiving community at times....LOL

Their reputation rating is already pretty low, it's currently a 2. Wonder why? Thanks you for your input!

I don't know the answer to your question but I know who you're talking about. The last discussion I responded to stated that she was getting married in 3 months and she wanted to know if her bridesmaid is trying to get out of it. I don't get why she is doing that. If this is hypothetical questions, she needs to state that in her posts. Good luck!

I can't tell if they're hypothetical questions or not. Like you said, if they are, it should be stated in the discussion. Thank you for your input!

I am only responding to this because you have my Avatar!! LOL I just joined last week and haven't been on much. It surprised me! In answer to your question, is there any real harm in someone "pretending" on here. I don't understand why they feel the need to, but that's probably better than revealing too much real personal information on a message board. To each his own, I guess. Love the kitty! LOL

My twin! Well, the harm I guess is that many members are on here trying to come up with good discussions and responses, and you do get paid based on the quality of your posts. So, I can see why some would resort to cheating, but it's not really fair for those others who work hard to come up with quality posts from their own thoughts and experiences. Thanks for your response!

Yeah, that would be irritating if you are trying to carry on a conversation. Every message board I have been on has a few of those. After a while it's like a game trying to figure out how many personalities one poster has. We used to joke on one board that there were really only a dozen members.. the 3-4 of us and 7 or 8 other people with 50 personalities a piece.

I know who you are speaking of.... from the philipines and 30 yet calls on her canadian sisters because she is starting highschool soon. husband is AF BMT but then she is 14 and there is no couch to cuddle on in their living room but then, she has a fiance and wants her cuz to be in her wedding in a few months oh, but wait she has a large anatomy for asian girls which she expects to resemble a baby's bottle. I don't know how to report other than the ! not sure if that does anything. maybe a contact to mylot staff?

i have encountered such kind of members here in mylot who seemed to be making abuses or violating guidelines and rules set by mylot. i had one incident when the member posted similar topic and contents that i have posted two months ago. i made a comment in the said topic telling him that he might be violating one of the guidelines here and with respect he replied asking sorry for it. i have not reported him anymore. but there are those who persistently repetitively doing the violations so the best way i have done was to report them to mylot admin.

You can always post a link to the user's profile here so we can justify whether or not he is really abusing myLot, if he is, Please don't hesitate to report him for abuse. People like this really stuff up myLot as they make ridiculous and useless posts to take advantage and make money
