I just saw someone selling a sequined Vaseline jar online. Supposedly it would make the perfect gift for mom, they said. Can you imagine paying money for something like that? What will people think of next? Would you actually buy something like that? So, what's the goofiest home made craft item that you've ever seen online or off-line? Please share.

Ive actually seen jars of vaseline with diamonds in it it magazines. Apparently its a popular gift some people give away to celebrities in those gift bags at awards shows. They're apparently worth thousands of dollars becuase they are real diamonds (these ones at least im not sure bout the one you saw). I think its rediculous. What are you going to do with a diamond covered vaseline jar? Just take the diamons and set it in a ring or necklace, then itd be worth it.

Just what I was thinking! How practical could a gift like that be. I did not know that it was such a popular gift for celebs. I saw the one that has the cheap fake diamonds on it. Not worth so much though. Weird what people like these days. Well, I guess you never know.

I loved beanies when they were popular and missed out on those too. Some of us just have to draw the line at silly! Wow! I'm wishing I had thought to stock up on the beanie babies, some of those are worth a fortune now. And, my three year old daughter loves any toy that is a beanie. If I'd only known.
