I would love to hear your thoughts on Brenton Wuchae, the track coach that married his 16 year old athlete Windy Hagar.

Two questions immediately come to mind...where are her parents, and isn't that against the law SOMEWHERE???? I just read a report, this "relationship" started when the girl was 14!!! Can somebody say jail bait??? What does a grown man see in a 14 year old CHILD...because that what she is...except for the unthinkable. I am shocked that the law couldn't/wouldn't do anything about this. What about the school? They say that they couldn't prove that there was anything INAPPROPRIATE going on. For God's sake MAN...everyone knows that if there's smoke, more often than not, there's fire. And what about this CHILD? What's going to happen in a few years time when the "wonder" wears off? Who will be there to pick up the pieces? What happens when she's had a number of kids and doesn't look so young and girlish anymore? Will this OLD man stick around? My guess is that he will go find himself another 14 year old to take advantage of. My God...what has this world come to that we can't protect our children? What are we teaching our children that causes them to want to get away from us by any means? Sad.......

The trauma this girl will go through afterwards and throughout this relationship is unimaginable to me. I don't know that she will ever have a healthy relationship. I do know she is going to be in need of some deep therapy sessions.

That is so true. And I pray that there will be someone around when she needs. There are no words left.......

I think its terrible. He will be way too old for her later and then she will be stuck in a terrible situation...also I think that is sorta like being a pedofile isnt it? He will also be so far ahead of her that he could take advantafe of her in many ways.....its sad, she should be enjoying her youth...her prom and all the other things and she hasnt had time to date or to learn what it is really best for her.....sad....

I think your right about her not being able to enjoy her youth- in a sense he is stealing away her inocense in my eyes.

That is ridiculous he is a grown man and she is nothing but a child. In my book he is a pervert he is to old.40 years old just takes the cake.Parents needs to be more aware of what goes on their child's life.I think the law should be more stricter about a situation like this.I mean with the parents consent or not.My daughter better not be talking to a grown 40 year old man
