Need Help with Research - here's a Challenge

Ok with 98,135 mylot members as of the time of posting this discussion I have got to believe I can get 40 people to help me.
This is the situation - I've accepted a job for $75 and all I need to do is leave comments on 50 blogs. Sure that sounds simple but it's NOT.
There is a stipulation the blog or blog entry must be somehow related to college students, finacial aid, college grants, loans or parents financing college education for children.
The idea is I must post my comment and include a link to a site which helps with these topics - thus the blog or entry must be related somehow or I could get busted for spamming.
So here's the challenge ha ha ha don't we all love a little challenge? I've already found 10 blogs but I need 40 more my eyes are going crossed looking at 'junk' advertising blogs that I've found on Google.
Please please please can someone help me with this project? If you know of or find such a blog just leave the blog address here and I will truely love you forever and ever.
Just remember, this is a business so no college beer bashes (or whatever they call them these days) I need serious college topics, information, or such. Or parents struggling to get kids through college would be great....

Are you familiar at all with blogcatalog.com or bloghub.com? They're search engines designed specifically for blogs. Anyway, here's the results they provide when you put in the term "college":

You are a doll - yes, I am familure with both, at least enough that I listed my own blog on them but am still new to the blog stuff and didn't even think of going there to look for other blogs, duh - airhead moment :(

hey! I'm sorry that this comes when I'm still making this blog about"fishnets" this is the newest ministry I am involved to in our church. It's an educational assistnce program for our less fortunate church memebers who cannot afford to send thier children to school.

Oh that sounds great - a wonderful ministry. Please do let me know, I'm sure the way I'm going it will be the end of the week before I finish this up. Wow!! I am not sure I would be up to this kind of challenge if it was me. This surely sounds interesting. I would start with like the Mom Blogs and such and see if you can find something up your alley as needed. This sounds like a lot of work for the $$. But wishing you Luck with this.

Well, the idea is to do 2 things - build links for Search Engine ranking and to possibly increase business.
Example - if the business was selling Dogs and I posted my comments and link on blogs about cats they could say and would be correct, that I'm spamming the blog.
Posting on blogs related to the business and me being the writter than I am (ha ha) I can comment very much as I would here on myLot but the businesses web link is included rather than my own.

Faith my kids have both graduated, well my son is in Seminary but I will try to remember to ask them if they know of something that will help you. Best of luck though. I'm not familiar with the blog stuff myself, I know about the myspace and xanga, but I don't know if that qualifies as a "blog" or not.

I actually did ask my boss about myspace blogs - he said I could use some but would rather not have too many from there. I haven't looked there yet as I'll have to sign up for a new membership before I can do anything there - someone stole my profile there so I just deleted the whole thing :)

i dont know if this counts, but my girlfriend just started a blog about her time in college...so far its dealing with roomates, etc, in a comical manner.
