I turn off the alarm once it rings, and lay in bed for another five minutes before going to take a shower. I get dressed and start doing my hair --- blowdrying it, brushing it, and straightening it. I spend three minutes or less on make up (eyeliner, eyeshadow, cover-up) and stuff all my things in my bag before leaving the house. I grab an energy drink or a fruit for breakfast on the way out, make sure I have my keys & my metrocard, and then I'm out.

I go to the coffee pot and start the coffee. I drink at least three cups then I am ready to start getting dressed 9 INCLUDING FIXING MY MAKE UP AND HAIR} and then I am ready to start working. I will usualy grab some toast and jam, a light breakfast and that is my usual routine...

I get up at 4:15 am, get on the treadmill for 45 minutes, have a cup of coffee, take a shower/dry hair/makeup/get dressed... I pack my lunch for work, eat a quick breakfast, and usually check my e-mail quickly before leaving the house to be at work by 7:30 am (I only have an 8 minute drive to work). It sounds like a lot, but I'm organized and used to the routine so it's OK. Weekends are a bit lazier!!

I do the same thing every morning. I get out of bed. I take a shower. I get dressed. I check my blood pressure and blood sugar because I'm diabetic and have high blood pressure. I eat breakfast. I take vitamins and medications. I dry my hair. I brush my teeth. I get my lunch together. I go to work. Of course on days I don't have to work I sleep late and do stuff in different order.

I open my eyes, turn off the alarm clock, get off bed, take care of my cats, eat something, brush teeth, put those anti-age lotions (yeah, I'm 31), put on my gym clothes and go to Tai Chi and Yoga on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, put some decent clothes and go to drawing class on Tuesdays or just put comfortable clothes and stay home on Thursdays. Not much.
