Back From Vacation

Doubletree Hotel - This is the hotel where we stayed in Birmngham, Alabama during the first part of our vacation. It is an extremely nice place to visit if you are ever in Birmingham and need to spend the night. The people who work there are very pleasant and helpful. One of the stories I plan to share this week is regarding one of the people who works in the restaurant here in the hotel.

Hello Everyone!I wanted to let all of my friends here know that I am back from my vacation. We had a really good week with lots of family time and lots of rest. I missed all my friends here though and I am glad to be back. I hope all of you had a great week!! I'm going to try to do discussions this week of some of the places we saw and people we met while we were gone. God Bless All of You and, again, I'm glad to be back home! :) SheliaLee

Outside the Doubletree - I took this shot of Amanda and Stuart standing outside of the hotel. Boy was it hot!! Luckily we were able to find a shade!

My husband taking a swim - I don't get to take many pictures of my husband because he is camera shy LOL! But I did catch him here having a swim in the pool.

Hi maddysmommy! I did have several e-mails but it is so nice of everyone telling me they missed me. It is good to know you have friends isn't it? Even though I haven't met anyone here on MyLot face to face I still feel like they are part of my extended family. Everyone on here has been marvelous to me. :)

Hi, Shelialee I know I hadn't seen you here in a while, Where did you go? I know you and your family had a good time, My Husband and I went two places, out of town, Erie Pen. and Canton Ohio. We had a lot of fun too.

My husband and the other delegates - This is a picture of my husband and the other men who went as delegates to their state convention. They are really nice gentleman to get to talk with. Most of the time I'm the only wife that comes along, LOL.
Hi Marcia!We were in Birmingham, Alabama the first part of the week. My kids had doctor's appointments there. We left there on Thursday and went to Tuscaloosa, Alabama. My husband's letter carrier union had their state convention there. We got rested up and had a great time. It is good to hear from you!:)

My husband Steve and Myself - Steve's convention always has a banquet at the end on Saturday night so I get to go with him. He gets all dressed up so I wanted to have my picture made with him LOL.
