When I was a little girl a friend of our family would put my hair in french braids. And, it was so comfortable and cool, especially on hot summer days. I'd love to put my three year old's hair into french braids, so that she doesn't get so overheated when we go outside. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to actually do french braids? I wish someone had shown me ages ago, but they didn't. Any suggestions or tips would be much appreciated.

I do know how but I have no idea how to explain it to you. I'm sorry! I know the easiest way for me to do it unless their hair is really long is to part their hair down the middle and do two French braids. This still works better on super long hair too, especially if it is thick. If you were here I'd show you how! My girls love having their hair put up like that. Maybe you can find a site that gives step by step directions. Good Luck!

I thought of way to explain that might make sense LOL Step 1: start at the top and separate a small section of hair into 3 smaller sections (think piggy tail amount) I'll call them A,B,C from left to right Step 2: Cross A over B and then C over A...the new left to right order should be B, C, A Step 3: add a new small section from the side to B and cross over C, then add a new small section from the other side to A and cross over B...the new order is C,A,B After this the sections you add to are C and B and then it will be A and C, then B and A, then C and B again repeating step 3 over and over for the entire length of the hair. Hope that makes a little sense anyway!
