Do you hate ads directed solely at kids?

My son has just started watching Nickleodian(sp) on telly, and all the ads he sees is for junk food, toys and a lot of other garbage. I thought pay tv wasn't even supposed to have ads. He never even knew what half the lollies were until he saw them on that channel. Now he always asks for them, even though he knows he isn't going to get them. Does this annoy you as well? We try not to let him watch too much of it, but I'll even admit there are some funny shows on there.

I hate toy commercials. My four year old, it doesn't matter what it is or what it does "I want that" "Um I would like that" "can I have that?" AHHHH!!!
It's usually met with "Well it's a long time till Christmas".

Yes, most times my son gets the response 'oh well, father christmas might get it for you'! But occaisonally my wife and I will get him something small, as his birthday is a week and a half before christmas, and that is so long for a young kid to wait, lol!

Hi,friend see its common with every kid aqnd we do nothing except to calm them down and explain them what is good for them and what is not,to say more, iam helpless in this matter of kids as iam still to expierence with my 2yr old kid.
