Are you fed up of cinema hall nuisances?

Have you ever attended a movie where a wailing baby disturbs viewers around, or a bunch of rowdies keeps hooting and whistling at the screen, drowning out dialogue? If so, you probably wanted to give those responsible a lesson in theatre etiquette! When you've paid to watch a film on the big screen, and inconsiderate folks ruin the experience, it can be downright annoying. People today don't think twice before inconveniencing those around them, as long as they are having fun. Do share such experiences, and voice your opinions and advice in this regard. Have you ever been the victim of disruptive elements in a cinema hall? How did you deal with the situation? Tell us all about it!

I rarely ever go to the movies because it costs so much money and when there are many people around being obnoxious and such. Thing is... half the people in this world have no respect for the other people around them. How often do people thank you or say excuse me? At least, where I live... people are all about themselves and not about anyone else. If I do go to the movies I try my hardest to pick shows when I don't think the theater will be so crowded. Mostly I just watch movies in the comfort of my own home. I may have only a 32" screen..... and it's not as big as a movie theater screen but the people aren't as obnoxious and I can still have popcorn and not worry about sticky seats!

Ok, so I ttoally agree that people should be considerate at the cinema. It is frustrating and annoying when people are loud, whistling, leaving their cell phones on..but come on...a crying baby is being inconsiderate?? I'm easily annoyed, but I hardly think that is something you can get annoyed at. Babies cry, it's what they do. Should their mothers keep them locked in the attic away from society, so as not to disrupt people? I do think they should have ushers back in the cinema though, to cut down on the nonsense of badly behaved people who really do know better.
