That is small compared to the numbers showing up here. Some of them are surprising. However my list of 2nd cousins and 1st cousins once removed is huge. We worked it out one time and if my husband and I only invited family to our wedding there would be a total of 312 Aunts, Uncles and cousins on my side alone his side would be 30 people. Its a good thing we eloped.

oh gosh i got a lot of 1st cousins. maybe i have 50+ cousins at my mothers side (half first cousin not yet counted lol) and 30+ cousins at my fathers side (half first cousin not counted yet).

yes we do, some of my aunts and uncle has 10 kids. and it is really noisy during family reunion... thats only the counting of cousins... i dont want to count the nieces and nephews.lol

I don't really know. My father has 11 brothers and sisters and some illegitimate siblings which I never got to meet. I only met 6 sibling of my father. I know that they have families somewhere already but I don't really know them. So far I only know about 34 cousins but there is just more of them actually. I don't even include those illegitimate children of my uncles too. One uncle of mine married 3 times and had children from each marriages which I also didn't get to meet.

I have way too many to even start counting. My mother has 26 brothers and sisters because my grandfather was married 3 times and my father has 8 + however many as my grandmother was married twice. Too many to count!!

Hey. Wow, you've really made me think about just how huge my family is... My parents come from big families themselves. We know on both sides of our parents we have big families, but when you tally both sides of your parents up together, it is mighty huge LOL... Look at this, on my dads side I have 53 1st couins alot of them are older then us and on my moms side I have 41 1st cousins, gheese thats 94 in total, one more will make 95, But I doubt that, then again, a couple of my uncles in there 50's 40's pumped out babies 2 years ago and these are our youngest first cousins... LOL

I have seven first cousin's.I do genealogy,so I know I have alot of 2nd,3rd,4th,5th,6thand 7th cousin's too.

on my mother's side, i have only 7 first cousins since she has only a sister, my aunt. while on my father's side i have 9 first cousine since my father has two other sisters, my other two aunts.

I do have 6 from my father's side but to my mom's side I'm not familiar how many they are.

I do not have the actual count but I guess that the nuber of my 1st cousins are more than 20.
