Do you sell your crafts? Where do you sell them? Has anyone sold anything on etsy.com? I love to craft, but I don't have room for all the stuff I do and I have given away a lot of stuff too. What do you do with your craft items?

I sell bead and wire jewelry on etsy.com & I belong to a daily forum list that has been the source of most of my sales. The best thing to do is get involved with the forums and promote the heck out of your store... I also recently started teaching jewelry classes, and may soon be teaching polymer clay classes http://www.bibelots.etsy.com http://flickr.com/photos/bibelots/sets http://www.myspace.com/bibelotsjewelry http://blog.myspace.com/bibelotsjewelry

I love making crafts- I don't sell them- I give them away as gifts- It's fun to do- I think if I made them to sell- I'd like it less- more stress behind that- I usually keep one for myself and make one for someone else- It's funny people actually expect something home made from me- I usually do wood crafts- but can sew and embroider too!

I have sold one item on etsy, and have had moderate success selling at craft fairs. I mostly give away the things I make.

I usually just give my crafts away as gifts, although I have sold some at local craft events. I haven't made as much lately, but was thinking about getting back into some of the crafts I used to do and maybe trying my hand at a few new things. Maybe I will check out www.etsy.com

I put together native 'American crafts such as dream catchers, mandela's, necklaces, chokers, ear rings etc. I have some of my crafts in consignment shops and I take them to Pow wows plus I sell them by word of mouth. I have thought of selling them on EBay but I do not have a camera and my works are mostly one of a kind so you would need to see them to appreciate them. Hopefully in the near future I can get a camera so that I can sell them on line. I could also sell them on Craigslist with a picture of the product.

I sell my crafts on etsy.com. My shop is: http://scarywhitegirl.etsy.com Most of the crafts I do are crochet and cross stitch, with some sewing and collage as well. I've also sold my crafts at craft fairs, but since I have recently moved and gotten a new job, I don't think I will be able to do craft fairs very often, if at all. So Etsy is a great way for me to be able to sell my crafts!
