"flip that house"!

Have you ever watched this show? I am unsure if its titled that way but that is the whole idea of the show and it is very interesting and such a great idea too.
As of right now my fiance and I are doing research on this and have looked at a few old and beat up homes to "flip" and are wanting to do some serious investing to one of these homes to sale to someone in the future.
We think it is a great idea and you can make a great profit off it as well, just have to make sure your calculating your figures correctly and making double sure this is something your serious about and all that.
Would you or have you ever done this before? Do you feel it is a great idea?

I do watch that show and it is a neat idea and they do make a lot of money off of those houses. However, I would be very cautious in attempting to do that if I didn't know much about the area the home was in or if I didn't know much about remodeling. It can be very expensive to remodel an older home.
Good luck with your venture though.

Yes I agree and that is one reason that we need to do some serious research on everything and make sure we know what we are getting ourselves into and all that.

I think flipping houses are a great idea. I too watched those shoes, and since then I've always wanted to do it. But was never financially able to do it. Just a couple of weeks ago I attended a workshop on investing real estate. So I intend on doing the same and also holding propertys and renting them out. But I haven't purchased my first property yet...So yes, it is a great idea. You can make a lot of money doing this.
