What toy would you want to have from your childhood?

I was in an antique shop yesterday when I spotted a old peddal fire engine exactally like the one I had as a child. When we moved, I didn't get to keep the car. Today is sells for nearly a thousand dollars. Then I saw a toy horse that was exactally like one I had as a child. I would love to have those back along with a couple of other toys. As an adult, I would love to have back the 55 Thunderbird that was given to me as a graduation gift. My father gave it to me and then two years later forced me to sell it. I still hate him for it and still miss the car! I am hoping one day to be able to afford to buy another one. But for fun, what toy would you like to have again?

The only thing from childhood I would like back is my smokey the bear teddy. I still have a mickey mouse record player from my childhood and it still works. Someone told me it was worth over a thousand dollars now.

Who ever told you that the record player is worth a thousand dollars is right. I am involved in antiques and do appraisels for stuffed animals. I have done research on other toys and have alot of referance materials on them... How old was the Smokey the Bear?
