Is anyone else bothered by the bold print at the bottom of the writer's page that says, "452 people who am a writer"? I really wish MyLot would fix it. It tends to grate on the nerves of those who "am" writers!

Take my word for it, to those of us who "am" editors, it's much "worser."

I know. It's annoying! Maybe if we all ask MyLot nicely they'll change it to "452 people who are a writer".

Lol! That would be just as bad. It should read "452 people who are writers."

Yeah, I suppose. Thanks for correcting me!

Some of us think we am a writer but we really isn't. I agree with you. This has driven me nuts since the first day that I saw it there. I cannot even look at it without flinching.

I hadn't noticed that before, but that is really awkward! Hearing that it is the same way for editors is even more appalling. :)

LOL! I never got to see that phrase, it does grate on the nerves especially for those english teachers out there. I guess you should call mylot administration's attention to that error. Good for you to have noticed it.

I am bothered too. Not just that. I am also bothered by how many people can't seem to write properly. I mean, we are not English majors here but I'd hope myLot can do something about those who can't really write well. It's truly an eye-sore. I wish that someday, myLot would have that grammar check program like microsoft has so that as we try to express ourselves, we'll also learn how to write proper English. Just my cent.

I completely agree! It is painful to try to skim over many of the posts. There have been a few that no matter how hard I tried, I honestly could not tell what they were talking about.
