Does anyone have any ideas for **kid-friendly** symbols of the Elements? I have bubbles or kites for Air, squirt guns or squirt toys for Water, rocks or break your own geodes for Earth. I am stuck with Fire. I'd also like some other ideas for Water, as well as Earth & Air. This is for a kids' project I am doing. I have something written up for each Element, to teach the kids a little bit about each one. Now I'm getting stuck with having a symbol - something the kids can take with them. Any ideas would be appreciated! Thanks!

For Earth: How about getting some non toxic air-dry clay at the craft store and have them make little bowls or figurines. It's not too messy and washes up pretty easily water. For Fire: Try letting them draw a flame in red, yellow and orange crayons, cut them out and glue them to the end of a popsicle stick so that it looks like a lit match. That's all I've got on the spur of the moment! LOL Have fun with your projects!

Those sound good, thanks! I should have gone into more detail. This is for Pagan Pride Day. Along with other children's activities, I wanted to have four small stations set up to teach the kids about the Four Elements. I have a small handout for each Element and wanted to have a small giveaway for each one as well. I'm estimating the amount at lots of 40. I really like your idea of having kids make something with clay though so I'll have to check prices on that. Thanks again!
