How long does it take you to unpack after a move?

I haven't moved in over 10 years. We had much less stuff when we moved into our house than we do now. We also did not have any children. I shutter at the thought of what it would take to move right now.

Well welcome to your new home, we moved last november and still have a box or two, but I was able to get things I didnt need rounded up and had a nice garage sale.
We had to paint every room of this 3 bedroom house so it took forever to get things unpacked, hang in there someday you wil have it all done.

I dont know but it usually takes me a couple of days to unpack after a trip after I get home from the flight im usually pretty tired so I just unpack my labtop see what I missed and catch up on things and watch tv and I would leave my clothes in my luggage for a few days.

This is a good question. In my moves, I get most of it done within about 3 months, but to be totally finsished with no boxes around, honestly probably about a year. One things moving has helped me with is getting rid of a lot of unnescesary items. It makes you realize what is important and what is not.

The lat time that I moved I stored the unnecessary things in the basement. Then little by little I emptied them and I think there were two boxes there for a whole year filled with things that I really did not need and I should have discarded them before the move.
Happy mylotting.
