alphabetical filing in an office

Need to know A to Z filing system. For instance, addresses and names. ACE Company, Robert Aceekens. Which would go first in filing, the person's name or the name of the company? That is the kind of information I am looking for in alphabetical filing.

Definitely file by the company name (you could be dealing with several people there, not just one person). If only an individual is involved, just file by their last name.

Which one is more important? If you are dealing with the business and the person is just a contact at that business, then file by business.
