I guess most of you like to sleep with a bolster. The question is why do some people like to sleep with bolster? Is it for comfortability or does it make you sleep easier and soundly?

I can sleep without any support to my neck. But I sleep on pillows to facilicate my spouse to sleep on my chest. The persons who sleep with Bolster must be bachelors. I am I right ? Lols...

in my opinion, everyone likes the idea of hugging. especially with your loved ones. so i guess having a bolster is like huggling your loved ones to sleep.. it is comfortable and helps to make sleeping easier!

Hi jasonhptan, for some maybe it is like hugging their loved ones but others may find comfort in hugging the bolster. Thanks for your response.

Is a "bolster" those rally long pillows? I have no idea. All I do know is I have my box spring, mattress, pillows and sheeting and a blanket and bedspread. So I know I don't use a bolster whatever that may be. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

No I never sleep with a bolster and we don't have any of that thing in our house. I use a thin pillow. Thick pillows may cause you spontulitis. In fact I have never seen a bolster. Only from this discussion did I get the idea. I don't like it. Thank you.

I hug my bolster firmly since it makes me lose my feeling of insecurity. Apart from providing sound sleep it gives me some sort of solace and comfort which is inexplicable.

What is a bolster? Is it like a pillow?

Helly Nykkee, obviously you dont use a bolster. A bolster is a long pillow that can be hugged and put it in between your leg while sleeping on your sideway. It is not like a pillow. Thanks for your response.

Oh ok, we have those here, we call them Body Pillows. I don't use one, but I do use a folded up blanket to support my leg, I am small and I find a body pillow too big. I do have on but I let my dog use it for her bed.

It is an habit one cultivates to sleep with. They feel confortable. With out they get sleep.

No, I don't. I only use pillows for my head to rest on and covers. And a mattress, but that almost goes without saying!

Before when I'm still single I do use to sleep with bolster but when I have my daughters It is the start we have many stuff toys and I prefered to used stuff toys to hug when I sleep. It is more soft and very cuddly.
