what do you prefer, basketball or soccer (football)?

In some countries, soccer is the game to die for. In my country, it's basketball. I'm more interested in watching and playing basketball than soccer. How about you? Which game is popular in your country?

badminton and soccer is popular game in my country. But i more interested too playing basketball than badminton and soccer. because playing basketball is my hobby.

I like both the sports, but I'm italian and here soccer is more played than basketball, I tried to watch basketball but in Italy there isn't the NBA :D so you can't see spectacular high-level matches; anyway playing soccer I had fractured an arm and still now I have some problems with a knee, hitted in a tackle. I think that basketball is safer than soccer; in the meantime I root for JUVENTUS!
