Runescape has no respect.

Jagex would be the nicest person in Runescape if you asked me. In runescape nowdays, if you ask one thing, millions of people will start crowding you and go NOOB NOOB NOOB! In most mmorpgs, the short type "noob" is used as a expression for talking about a person never learns how things work.
In runescape "noob" meens anyone that is not a certain level or doesnt have a certain armor! What is wrong with that! In that case, you have to be a noob to play! In other mmorpgs, most people are almost never called a noob. You may wonder why this is so, and I'll tell you. Because the game is being taken over by braty kids.
In most mmorpgs, people are nicer, and have more respect for one another because of age. Everyone is in there late high school years and some done with collage. They know how to solve things out and work as a team. People are this age because of the fee. In runescape its 5 dollars. In other games its 10-15. Younger kids cannot pay that, so they turn to runescape.
The next time you go to falador to buy/sell ores, look at what people are merchanting coal for. Some of you will say 180, and some 200. This is because little kids cant agree, or think they can get away with haveing their way. The people selling sell it for more, while the people buying buy it for less. This creates recklessness and people all calling each other noobs.
In runescape, since everyone are kids, they all care about killing each other and saying how everyone else is a noob. Be nice runescape, be nice.

I agree.. Most of the kids who do call ppl noobs are just some kids who were very much a noob at first and our probly madd at all the users calling them noobs.. I think that runescape should block it out.. or at least have the word inforced.. like maybe, have the user say noob five time from log-in to logout.. and then it will say in the chat-history, (please stop saying, "noob". Thanks.)
or something cuase every log-in is like the first two words is, "dumb noob" or something around that.
I can't imagine that runescape did'nt do something about this yet.
runescape has so many dumb rules i would think they would of been banning people from saying noob by now..
anyways i agree %100 with you.

Thanks for the great response! Anyway, we can not fix this by geting the word noob out of the databace, or makeing pk take longer. The only way to fix this is by makeing players benifit by being nicer. The whole moderator thing is not helping at all. Stupid rumors go around to the little 10 years that it takes 1 year of gameplay without one mark. You can have like..5 blackmarks and be at the top of the list for becomeing a mod!
The pking thing needsa makeover. Runescape has a horrible system for player vs player. In runescape, you can jump out of nowhere and kill people and nobody can have a chance. The wildy is so simple the little kids can easily abuse it. The wild was ment so people can find each other and battle. Not so you can sneak up on somebody and make them lose all their hard earned stuff.

That is why I don't waste my money on those sort of games. Even though I think it would fun, it's just not worth my money nor time, to deal with those type of things. If I want to deal with people being rude and obnoxious all I have to do is step out my front door, and go to the grocery store..lol.
But either way, I hope you can find it within yourself to have fun with the game.

I dont know why I play runescape. I just think its fun. I try turning off all puplic chat, so you can get your stuff done. I dont like it when little kids think that only other kids play online games. High school people are the people plaing the games mostly, but they wont listen.

Ok it was never like this in runescape classic. Runescape has evolved so much im basically speechless. Now there are too many bots and it get very annoying. What I usually do is sell my account on ebay and start another popular game.

im offended a bit cuz u said younger kids and im 13 but i know what u mean. I used to call people noob all the time but now i don't. i found the word meaningless as people use it too much, yet some people find it highly offensive. I think thats part of the problem too.
IF we really want to stop the noob calling we have to 1st of all we have to stop calling poepl noobs. 2nd we have to stop having such big reactions to this simple little word. We have to remember that it's just someone behind a screen who doesn't even know or care what happens to you.
theres a lot more said, A LOT MORE. The bratty kids need to just stop and the other people need to ignore them. Noob isn't a word thats gonna kill you or chage life (if it is u have problems) and we really just need to remember that most of the poeple just friggin care and what to see you get mad and riled up.

thats sad. i havnt been on runescape for a while though, noone has ever spoken to me.
but what i do hate is, im at, i think, level one. and one time i was walking around, killing imp and getting coins. then this guy, level 7 i think, begins chasing and attacking me.
he killed me and all my stuff was lost. ill go back eventually, when i get a faster computer, cause everything moves slow when i play runescape on this computer.

Well, you must of enterd the wilderness, because that is the only place other people can attack you. People like to pray on people who are haveing bad lag. This is also another thing that is a problem. People prey on the problems that make the game harder for other players. In other games, if you say tha your computer is lagging bad, they will have a heart and not attacking them.

but it's best that if you are the lowest level in runescape which is 3, not 1 lol
that u best stay out of the wild unless you train another skill like magic, and go prey on some guys out ther :P
anyway good luck. Runescape can be a pain at times you just gota get the positive out of it. ;)

Okay I'm a kid too, I'm 14, yet I would kill myself if I called someone else a noob, i literally yelled at someone for calling another person a noob and threatened to take them to wildy. They called me Noob and I was angry. Yes, people do take advantage now and don't have respect or anything. I hate that. But you know what, it's all the chavs and stupid populars who do this and people with no lives!

they may be think ur a noob cos u ask stupid questions or stupid things but when THEY didnt know someone had to tell them anyway so it is really stupid or when u wanna buy something they says offer , u offer and then they says lol what a noob
and hate that ,if they not agree they just shut it , i mean dang !!
