What's your favorite "Lazy" meal?

We all have those night...you get home and you are just exhausted and unmotivated. You don't want to order out, since that can take too long...and can be pricey. You are looking for something, fast, easy and satifying..... When this happens, what are your favorite "lazy meals"? I know when I have to work late, I am starving by the time I get home. I am also exhausted. One of my favorite things to throw together is noodles, cream of mushroom soup, and some sort of vegatable. The soup makes an easy sauce and I am also getting my veggies in, even if it is frozen of canned. It's hot, fast, filling and pretty low effort. What are some of your favorite "Lazy meals"?

Hi! I have a few things I do when I want a quick meal. One of my quick meals is to keep Totinos pizza in the freezer. Another is to make fish sticks and instant mashed potatoes and open a can of diced peaches to go with it. Grilled cheese sandwiches and soup are another one of my "go to" meals. Another thing I do for a quick side dish is cook Ramen noodles and throw the seasoning packets away. Then I add butter and grated parmesian cheese to the hot cooked noodles. My family loves it.

Butter and cheese is on noodles is great! It's nice how something so simple can be so good. I sometimes add a little lemon zest too. I love the lemony flavor.

My lazy meals are usually sandwiches and salad~ did this last night. I also love noodles and butter as someone else mentioned. If it is just me and the kids, we will even have cereal or frozen waffles.

Breakfast at night is a great lazy meal. Sometimes I just have eggs and toast when I get home.

Nothing could be lazier than pouring a bowl of cereal. That is what every member of my house eats when they are hungry and left to fend for themselves. Sometimes the kids will toast a frozen waffle or a bagel, but cereal is the number one food in our house.

if its not hot, then its spaghetti...especially when we are short on time or need to feed a crowd (we have wed night kids club and need to leave by 6 pm and my daughter usually invites several friends and most of them havent eaten yet by that time...so... if it is hot, we have steak frajitas...thin steak on a pita

Hi! The last time I bought a ton of ground beef on sale, I mixed some of it into meatballs and froze them. That way, when I want a quick spaghetti dinner, I can just put the meatballs and sauce into the crock pot! :-)

I absolutely love hotdogs. Put the dogs on boil and maybe heat up some canned chili. With a bag of chips you have yourself a meal. Eventhough I like this meal alot, I try to leave it as a last resort. When I have to work late, the wife is to tired to cook, and neither of us wants to get take out. My daughter and I will go thru a pack easy. Our last minute meal turns in to a big party. Some how this has become the most valued meal in our house!!

same with you i can enjoy noodles, so easy to prepare and satisfying by just adding hot water, frozen peas, corn and carrots. other lazy foods also include in my list are cream of mushroom or chicken and i love with garlic toast, scrambled egg with catsup and mayonnaise in bagel, instant oatmeal with dried fruits or oatmeal cookies with raisin dip into fresh milk with a pc of banana. i can already sleep with that and wakes up full of energy the next day.

I have a lot of quick meals .I think spaghetti is one of them. I used to make my sauce from scratch but it turns out no one really it liked it any better than a can of sauce. So now I try to get a good brand of sauce, add fried hamburger which has been well drained and let it simmer. The I got cook my noodles and drain them that is pretty fast . If I am really in a hurry and Hubby is not home I might just have hot dogs of Kraft dinner.

I guess it would be instant noodles. Well, you get it instantly lol. Well, not that instant actually since it still takes a bit of an effort. I have to boil the water in the pot then cook it proper. I prefer this version to the really instant type in a cup or bowl. Cheers.:D

Well it would definitely be a pasta dish. I love to make my own sauce and it takes no time at all to open a few cans and season. I boil up some pasta and there's dinner. I serve it with a fresh salad and maybe some Italian bread if I have it handy. I also like to barbeque and I was counting on doing that tonight, but we have a storm coming so we may just order pizza.

I like several "lazy meals", sometimes I just open a can of pork and beans, chop up a couple of weiners and microwave till its very hot. Also I like Kippered Snacks with fresh bread and butter. open the can and eat the fish right out of it. Thats a very Lazy Meal!

I keep homemade baked meatballs in the freezer for days like this. I can either add them to some stir fried veggies, or some pasta and pasta sauce. Its the meal we have when we are too lazy to order takeaway.

I like lazy meals. Because I am to lazy to make my own. I call a fast food company, and demand: fried chips, hamburgers and a shaorma lol. I don't eat it alone but with my borther :P, he is a fan of lazy food to :).

I like biscuits and instant noodles. They are fast food and when I am too lazy, it's a good choice.

Well, I think the thing we eat the most is Velveeta Shells and cheese, There are sooo many things we can do with this, LOL. If I have leftover taco meat I add that, cut up fried hotdogs, tuna fish, veggies ect. It is good and filling and quick
