Blockbuster vs Netflix

I started out subscribing to Netflix until Blockbuster started offering bringing movies back to the store for another movie right away. I love renting movies and have saved a ton of money as a customer at blockbuster.com. It is so awesome, I pay 14.99 per month for two movies at a time unlimited including a coupon once a month to rent a free game. Not only do they send you two movies at a time by you can bring them into the store after you are done watching them, exchange it for a new movie and then another movie gets sent to you through the mail. I get so many more movies from blockbuster than I did from Netflix in a month and for the same price. I highly recommend blockbuster.com for anyone out there who loves movies!

I'm still a netflix fan, i don't like blockbuster's bandwagon jumping.I also don't care for their patronizing candy/soda discount card.We don't need more junk food, lol.I'm glad you're happy but I still like netflix, and the new "watch now " feature on their site, it's even easier than running back to the store.

I agree. I still love netflix. I have been a member almost since they started and have had no problems. And if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I thought netflix was awesome too and they never did anything wrong but with blockbuster you get so many more movies it's insane. You get them back quicker too because with netflix you have to wait until they get the movie back in the mail where with blockbuster as soon as they scan it in the store they send you the next one. For example I brought back 2 envelopes on Monday of this week, got two movies from the store and just got 2 more movies in the mail today! That is 6 dvds in 3 days! Now, it's not always that quick but it is more often than not.

Slightly off topic , but something I found a little odd, was that Blockbuster was using real stamps on their envelopes, they didnt have pre-printed postage. Did they jump on this idea so fast, lol, that they're employess have to sit there and stick stamps on?Wow!

I agree with you on the ablility to bring movies to the store but there is alot more movies avaliable through netflex. I have netflex and I have found so many more movies that I've wanted to see but Blockbuster have never carried.

Currently Blockbuster is the better deal for those who do not watch movies on their computers...which I am not going to do. I am buried in movies all the time thanks to Blockbuster.

I highly agree with you. I just made the mistake of going back to netflix since it has been awhile but I wish I would of stayed with Blockbuster now.
