I live alone so when it comes to shopping for groceries i take these following steps to make my task easier.IF you are the one who mostly buy the groceries this following tips(from what i'd experienced) may make it easier for you and may save some bills too.
1)Plan before you head off.Take a pencil and scribble down your lists.
2) Stuff your stomach. When you are hungry you won't feel like buying anything.
3)Choose the right and best store for yourself where you'll find everything you need. When you are buying in bulk stick to just one superstores.
4)Check with the store's double-coupon days and other money saving informations.
5)set your limits.Don't do spontaneous shopping trips.Setting your dollar limits for impulse buying will help soothe your craving without busting your budget.
6)REad the labels for each products you are buying.By reading the label, you can get a better idea of what the fat to calorie ratio is as well as other valuable nutritional information.
7)Keep your eyes on the scanner to keep the cashier alert.it will also allow you to stop the checkout process if an item is showing the incorrect prise.

Well done on the good shopping tips but I find if I stuff my stomache before I go I walk around and pick up absolutely nothing so it is hard to try and find the balance.
Often I have to stop the cashier to query a promotion which I don't think has gone through but sometimes it can totally put me off packing my bag.

LOL. I do keep my eyes on the scanner. Usually both my husband and I will go do our shopping, we know what store to shop out of, so before we go, we also make a list of foods and products we may need, we also have a calculator with us too while I tele up and push the trolley, he grabs the products and gives me the prices. When we get the total amount at checkout, we're right on the ball with our totals... These things do make a difference in budget and fortunately this is our grocery shopping habit all the time...

I do the shopping and I shop like you do. I watch everything closely. I just do not buy in bulk. I do not like to eat the same things over and over and I cook fresh every day. I go and buy fresh things like fruit and vegetables and milks several times a week.
So I almost never go to these superstores which are far away from where I live, I rather save the cost for the gas to get there. I have several stores I can walk to or reach by bicycle.

Good tips but sometimes at home I do some shopping but also sometimes my parents do as well. It just depends on the day and the time as well. I don't mind walking as the store is in walking distance for me. I'm used to walking everywhere.
I keep those tips in mind when going to the store. Thanks for sharing.

Rotation, that's how we assign the one who shops. We have a list of the members of the family and we do it one after another.
