Why, In The Name Of Everything Sane Would They Do That?

Why did anybody allow Rosie O'Donnell to adopt, especially a little girl? Is money and popularity all it takes to raise a child? Did anyone give this woman a psychological evaluation before they put children in her home? What is this world coming to. Yes, okay, point well taken. It is sad that the children in Iraq have to live like that. I am a loving human being and I hate to see kids having to suffer through this. Show us a picture of an actual child suffering. But don't take an innocent little girl whom yopu are suppose to be caring for and strap bullets on her and take pictures of it. I agree that she went to far, like she always does. It is a sad shame that children can be put up for adoption in America and still be treated like this. I mean how is she going to explain this to that little girl when she grows up. Oh, mommy just used you to make a point. I am utterly outraged and those kids should be taken from her immediately. It's bad enough that she has them in the first place. Okay, I think that I am finished venting now.

I totally agree with you. I saw the picture you are referring to and it sickened me. We understand that she hates the war and everything involved in it, but don't use your child to make that point. It's just very sad! Leaves you thinking what she'll do next!

I hate to find out what she may do next. All I know is that she does not seem to be mentally stable at all. I wish that she wouldn't get the children wrapped up in her little protest. It just seems so unfair for them. I didn't even know that she had adopted a little girl until I saw this. All I am saying is just because a person as money, does not gaurantee a child a better life.

As far as I know Rosie had adopted three children she may have more by now. She has also help several gay coples adopt children.

Wow...I haven't even heard about this new Rosie news. When did she do that? Rosie used to be alright, but over the past few years she has become an entirely different person. I fully believe in people having the right to express thmselves, but strapping bullets to your kid, just to make a point, is going a bit too far. I think as far as the adoption thing goes, it's very 'stylish' for celebrities to adopt now. Some may truly have their hearts in the right place, but I've lost count by now who all had adopted, let alone genuinely doing it because they want to make a difference. I want to see children from other countries have a good life too, I really do, but we have kids here in America that need a good home too.

I have never understood why Americans are so quick to help other countries when America has the same kind of suffering throughout. That is one thing about sites like Mylot, other countries get to find out how we are really doing. I for one write the truth.

I agree with you. If she rants and goes on like a crazed woman on national television, imagine what her little girl wittnesses at home? Brittney Spears came under attack and had officials checking her out as a responsible parent over her antics, Rosie is no different and needs to have her home check out as well. Good discussion.

Rozie I guess I missed what Rosie did, it sounds like posed her daughter with bullets to her and took pictures is that right? Before this happened I had no objections to Rosie adopting children, just because someone is loud and obnoxious in the public life dose not mean they are a bad mother and should not be aloud to adopt children. Look at what Michael Jackson did with his baby when he hung him over the balcony of the hotel. How stupid was that, no one took his kids away from him for that. I agree if Rosie did what I think she did then someone needs to speak to her about her judgment, was it a publicity stunt? No matter the reson why it should not have been done and was in poor taste but that over all does not make her a bad mother. Now if you are saying she should not have been aloud to adopt because of her sexuallity then that is another whole can of worms that I do not want to get into.
