Why do most men commit suicide?

I always hear on the news that this guy killed himself because of depression or something... Like recently Benoit killed his family then commited suicide...
What do you think is the reason behind that? Does it has something to do with men being secretive about their emotions?

I think when people feel so hopeless and depressed, and they will choose to end their lives. Especially nobody cares about them at their down time.

The reason, I think, is extreme depression and dejection towards life.
May be you are right that some men are secretive about their emotions.
It is difficult to guess and judge...when an average looking person can go to exteme point.
It is a crime to take one's own life.
