I was wondering how many of you My Lotters have a garden? Is it a vegetable garden or a flower garden? Some people even have rock gardens. They are very pretty... If you have a vegetable garden do you perserve your own veggies? I don't really have a garden, but I do like to work out in the yard. It's very good exercise... So, tell me about your garden and if you don't have one,do you wish you did?

I wish I had a garden. Right now I'm living in apartments so I don't have a place for a garden. But I would love to be able to grow my own vegetables. Between the cost of food going up and all the recalls it would be so nice to have my own garden. At least it would save me some money and I would know where my food is coming from.

In May I moved into a unit that has a nice garden on 3 sides of the house. However, all it has is grass at the moment. It is winter here now and so gardening is not good right now... So I like to spend time planning and plotting how I want to landscape it. I am going to make a veggie patch in back of the garden. I look forward to growing tomatoes and things again. In the front I want to make it beautiful and nicely landscaped and tropical if possible. I am busy growing avo trees from their pips and so hopefully I can put them in the ground at the start of summer. I love to do gardening. It is good for the soul and good the body and mind as well.
